The test piece will represent a scaled down industrial heating system, so a sound knowledge of hot and cold water systems for gas and oil installations is essential

Competitors must have the ability to interpret accurately drawings, bend, thread and joint black iron piping of various sizes and fit out to a very high degree of accuracy and neat presentation. The test piece is pressure tested when completed to check for leaks.
